My latest obsession: Geocaching
I’ve been out geocaching lately… basically, a high tech cross between a scavenger hunt, hide-n-seek, and hunting for pirates’ treasure. Using a GPS, you track a set of coordinates and find the “cache,” some type of container that may contain anything from trinkets to a sign-in log only. Lots of fun, and another excuse to get outdoors.
Check out the geocaching website HERE.

i totally hear that. 2 good friends just popped my geocaching cherry. i’m in love. even when we just found th emost boring caches it was still incredibly entertaining, and what a great way to discover new parts of the city!
Definitely. I’m digging it. I’ve got a friend who doesn’t cache but likes to go with me when I’m out hunting. Aside from his complaining about posion ivy (sorry, TDB, couldn’t resisit) he’s nice to have along. Geocaching.com: okiegeek
that last one you tromped right thru a big patch!
the looks you were gettign from passers by on one of the earlier ones was funny. i mean its not like you were naked and jumping up and down but they were certainly straining their necks as they passed.
